The Hofstra University Office of Athletic Communications
(OAC) welcomes the members of the media covering Hofstra
Men’s Basketball during the 2011-12 season. If we can be of
any assistance to you throughout the year, please do not hesitate
to contact us. We hope the following items will help you during
your visits to Hofstra University.

Press Room: Members of the media can pick up their pregame
and postgame information in the press room, located in the
southwest end of the Mack Sports Complex.
Game Services: Media members are asked to pick up their
game information packages (media guides, programs, notes) in
the press room prior to the start of the game. A complete NCAA
box score will be distributed at halftime. Complete game
statistical books will be available 15 minutes after the game.
Radio Broadcasts: The Hofstra Office of Athletic
Communications will have touch-tone digital phone lines
available for the opponent’s radio stations. Visiting radio
stations will need to give the Hofstra OAC two weeks notice
of their intention to broadcast. There will be a $75.00 charge
for visiting stations to offset the cost of installation and
maintenance of the line. ISDN lines are available for rental at
$300.00 per event. All calls must be made collect or direct-dial
from the radio station to the Mack Sports Complex.

Interview Policy: Hofstra coaches and players will be available
after all contests. Interview requests on non-game days should
be directed through the Hofstra OAC. Interviews on game days
will be limited to postgame only. Player home phone numbers
will not be distributed.
Telephones/Fax Machine: Telephones will be available along
press row for working media. A fax machine will be available
upon request.

Press Credentials: Members of the media should request
credentials from the Office of Athletic Communications at least
24 hours prior to each game. These credentials will be left at
the Will Call/Press window at the box office on the north side
of the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex. Media
parking is available in the lot directly across from the entrance
to the Mack Sports Complex.
Photo Passes: Photography credentials will be issued to
certified photographers of daily newspapers, magazines and
television stations. Credentials will not be granted to freelance
photographers. All shooting must be done from the ends of the
court. Flashes will not be permitted.
