A—0 to 4 inches; dark grayish brown (10YR 4/2)<br />

loam, very dark brown (10YR 2/2) moist; weak<br />

fine subangular blocky structure parting to<br />

moderate fine granular; s<strong>of</strong>t, very friable, slightly<br />

sticky, nonplastic; few fine and common very fine<br />

roots; common very fine and fine pores; slightly<br />

alkaline (pH 7.6); abrupt smooth boundary.<br />

Bt—4 to 12 inches; dark grayish brown (10YR 4/2)<br />

clay loam, very dark grayish brown (10YR 3/2)<br />
