Oi—0 to 2 inches; slightly decomposed leaves and
twigs.
A—2 to 10 inches; dark grayish brown (10YR 4/2)
gravelly sandy loam, very dark grayish brown
(10YR 3/2) moist; weak very fine and fine
granular structure; soft, very friable, nonsticky,
nonplastic; common very fine and fine roots;
many very fine and fine pores; 20 percent gravel;
10 percent cobbles; neutral (pH 7.2); clear
smooth boundary.
C1—10 to 26 inches; grayish brown (10YR 5/2) very
gravelly loamy sand, dark grayish brown (10YR
4/2) moist; single grain; loose, nonsticky,
nonplastic; few very fine and fine roots;
35 percent gravel; 15 percent cobbles; slightly
effervescent; slightly alkaline (pH 7.6); clear wavy
boundary.
C2—26 to 62 inches; light brownish gray (10YR 6/2)
extremely cobbly sand, grayish brown (10YR 5/2)
