Following discussion it was moved by R. Zacharias, seconded by G. Olsen and carried that the<br />
Board approve the 2013-2014 Negotiated Wage Approval.<br />
B. Consent Agenda<br />
It was moved by R. Zacharias, seconded by P. Zenner-Richards and carried that the Board approve<br />
the following items in the consent agenda:<br />
1. Finance<br />
a) Financial Statement and Expenditures over $2,500: Approved the financial statement<br />
and expenditures as of April 30, 2013.<br />
b) Cash and Investment Schedules: Approved the monthly cash reconciliation, investment<br />
schedule and investment report.<br />
2. Personnel Report: Approved the personnel report of seven (7) employment approvals-new<br />
hires; three (3) retirement; two (2) resignation; four (4) employment approvals-casual, noninstructional;<br />
and no employment approvals-adjunct faculty.<br />
3. Approval of Bids:<br />
a) Approved Bid No. 1406: Racine Campus – Lake Building Roof Replacement<br />
b) Approved Bid No. 1407: Kenosha Campus – Academic Building Roof Replacement<br />
4. Grant Awards: Approved the Grant Awards – May 2013<br />
5. Program Approval: Approved the Tool and Die <strong>Technical</strong> Diploma (Board approval is<br />
requested for a Tool & Die <strong>Technical</strong> Diploma program. Upon approval, the Concept Review<br />
will be submitted to the Wisconsin <strong>Technical</strong> <strong>College</strong> System for approval).<br />
6. Contracts for Instructional Delivery: Approved the contracts for instructional delivery report<br />
for April 2013<br />
7. Advisory Committee Activity Report: Approved the advisory committee 2012-2013 meeting<br />
schedule and new members as of May 1, 2013<br />

1. End Statement #1 - <strong>Gateway</strong> provides academic programs and services that meet the current<br />
and future postsecondary technical education needs of our tri-community and assists in the<br />

a. Monitoring and continuous quality improvement of programs, course scheduling and<br />
enrollment, and student retention are important components of providing effective<br />
