Preface<br />
The <strong>Heatline</strong> gas fired, condensing combination<br />
boiler meets the requirements of all appropriate<br />
regulations and is deemed to meet the requirements of:<br />
Gas Appliance Directive 90/396/EEC<br />
Efficiency Directive 92/42/EEC<br />
Low Voltage Directive 73/23 EEC (modified from 93/68)<br />
Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 89/396 EEC<br />
(modified from 93/68)<br />
<strong>Heatline</strong> declares that the materials used in the<br />
manufacturer of this appliance are non-hazardous and<br />
that no substances harmful to health are contained<br />
within the appliance.<br />
Manual Handling:<br />
As this appliance is heavy it is recommended that you<br />
get assistance when lifting. When manoeuvring the<br />
boiler always use safe techniques – keep your back<br />
straight, bend your knees, don’t twist, move your feet.<br />
Avoid bending forwards or sideways and keep the load<br />
as close to your body as possible. Where possible<br />
transport the boiler using a suitable trolley, sack truck<br />
or get some assistance. Grip the boiler firmly and<br />
before lifting establish where the weight is concentrated<br />
to determine the centre of gravity, repositioning yourself<br />
if necessary<br />
Warnings<br />
<strong>Heatline</strong> accepts no responsibility for the<br />
unsatisfactory performance of the appliance or flue<br />
arising from the failure to comply with the installation<br />
and user instructions. Incorrect installation could<br />
invalidate your guarantee and may lead to prosecution.<br />
If the boiler is sold to another customer, all documents<br />
must be transferred from existing customer to the new<br />
one and the appliance must be re-registered with<br />
<strong>Heatline</strong> in order to maintain the guarantee.<br />
The boiler must be installed in accordance with these<br />
instructions and all the regulations currently in force.<br />
Read these instructions carefully before installing or<br />
using the appliance.<br />
SHOULD YOU SMELL GAS: Turn the gas valve off at the<br />
Gas Meter or Gas Cylinder, ventilate the room by opening<br />
windows and doors (EXTINGUISH ANY NAKED FLAMES,<br />
DO NOT OPERATE ANY ELECTRICAL SWITCHES) and call<br />
Transco on 0800 111 999 or if you use LPG call your gas<br />
supplier.<br />
IMPORTANT NOTE<br />
Speed 2 is the factory default setting<br />
for the Pump.<br />
This setting should be suitable for<br />
most of your applications.<br />
