The Edge Trigger Menu is described as below:<br />

Set a trigger on the rising edge of the signal.<br />

Set a trigger on the falling edge of the signal.<br />

Set Channel 1 as the trigger signal of the source.<br />

Set Channel 2 as the trigger signal of the source.<br />

Set the external trigger channel as the trigger signal<br />

of the source.<br />

Divide the External Trigger Source by 5 to expand<br />

the external trigger level range.<br />

Mode<br />

Auto<br />

Normal<br />

Single<br />

Collect the wave form even if there is not trigger<br />

condition is detected.<br />

Collect the wave form only when the trigger<br />

condition is fulfilled.<br />

Collect a wave form when a trigger is detected then<br />

stop sampling.<br />

Coupling<br />

DC<br />

AC<br />

HF Rjc<br />

LF Rjc<br />

Block the direct current component.<br />

Unblock all components.<br />

Block the high-frequency signal and only unblock<br />

the high-frequency component.<br />

Block the low-frequency signal and only unblock<br />

the low frequency component.<br />

Make such settings in Channel 1 as Rising for Slop, Auto for Mode and DC for<br />

Coupling. The operation steps are as follows:<br />

1. Press the TRIG MENU button and call out the trigger menu.<br />

2. Press the F1 menu selection button and select Edge for Type.<br />

3. Press the F2 menu selection button and select Rising for Slope.<br />

4. Press the F3 menu selection button and choose CH1 for Source.<br />

5. Press the F4 menu selection button and choose Auto for Mode.<br />

6. Press the F5 menu selection button and choose AC for Coupling. The display<br />

in the screen is as Fig. 28.<br />

7. Press the F2 menu selection button again and choose Falling for Slope. For<br />

the screen display, see Fig. 29.<br />
