2.3.2 Results<br />
The participants liked driv<strong>in</strong>g with M = 4.10 (SD = 1.09) and rated its importance with M = 3.26 (SD<br />
= 1.30). Similar to study 1, the items for driv<strong>in</strong>g motivation (pleasure and importance) had a<br />
Cronbach’s Alpha <strong>of</strong> α = .63 and correlated with r = .46 (p < .001). Therefore, the mean value <strong>of</strong> the<br />
two items was used for further analysis.<br />
