Gender-Neutral Public Restroom. An accessible gender-neutral
(unisex/family) public restroom is located on the fourth floor of
the hotel.
Sessions. SSSP strives to make its Annual Meeting accessible to
ensure full participation by persons with disabilities. Each
presentation or session should be designed and conducted with
the full participation of all in mind. Therefore, the SSSP requests
that all presenters follow the Accessibility Guidelines for Program
Participants and take the steps necessary to make all
programming accessible to their respective audiences.
Airports. Wheelchair accessible transportation is available at
John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, and
Newark Liberty International Airport for travelers with
disabilities. The Americans with Disabilities Act requires all
ground transportation companies provide accessible vehicles. It
is recommended that individuals needing this service make
arrangements in advance with their chosen service provider.
Public Transportation Information. The Metropolitan
Transportation Authority of New York City (MTA) offers reduced
fares and several services to travelers with disabilities. The MTA
system has more than 110 accessible subway and rail stations
with features that improve accessibility for travelers with visual,
hearing, and mobility disabilities. Information for travelers with

The Association Travel Concepts (ATC) is the official travel
provider for the 2013 Annual Meeting. Special discounts are
available on United Airlines, Delta Airlines, Hertz Rentals,
Enterprise, and Dollar Rentals. There is a $10 online service fee.

General Driving Directions to the Westin New York at Times
Square
From New Jersey Turnpike via Lincoln Tunnel:
Follow signs from 40th St./West Side. Drive through 3 sets of
traffic lights. At the third light take a right on to 42nd Street. Drive
to 6th Avenue and turn left. Stay in the left lane. Turn left onto
43rd Street. The hotel is located at the corner of 43rd Street and
8th Avenue on the left hand side.
From George Washington Bridge & Cross Bronx Expressway
(1-95):
Take the Henry Hudson Parkway (9A) South. Turn left onto
Broadway and turn right. Stay on Broadway until 43rd Street and
turn right. The hotel is located at the end of the block, on the left
hand side.
Parking Services. The Westin New York at Times Square offers
valet parking at a fee of $57 + tax per day. Self parking is available
at a fee of $29 + tax per day. (For SUVs, an additional $5 fee
applies). Central Parking is located near the hotel at 150 West
38th Street between Broadway and 7th Avenue.
