3.5.9 Courtyard<br />
Building Description. Consisting <strong>of</strong> residences that can be arranged in four possible configurations:<br />
townhouses, flats, townhouses over flats, and flats over flats. These are arrayed next to each o<strong>the</strong>r, on one<br />
or more courts, to form a shared courtyard that is partly or wholly open to <strong>the</strong> street. All three<br />
architectural styles described and illustrated in Section 5.3 are appropriate for this building type.<br />
