Eagle Alumni
Association
Scholarship
Winners
SMCHS continued its tradition of
presenting the Eagle Alumni Association
Scholarship award to two dedicated
students.
Scott Fullerton and Megan Woods
carry on the tradition of the eighth
year of this distinctive award. These
two unique students were selected
from over 30 applicants and each
received $1,000 and individual plaques.
Their names are also engraved on
the Eagle Alumni Award perpetual
plaque that hangs in the Alumni
Office. Both Scott and Megan
were selected for their outstanding
all-around personal achievements
and amazing “Eagle Spirit.”
Caritas Award
Megan Woods was named the 2008
Caritas Award winner at Senior
Awards Night. Among Megan’s
many accomplishments, she was a
member of the California Scholarship
Federation (CSF) and Model United
Nations (MUN) program. “Santa
Margarita has been the biggest
impact on my life thus far,” Megan
said. “I have never been so passionate
about something other than SM. Not
only does SM resemble an amazing
learning institution I am proud to call
my own, it really is a second home
to me.” Megan attends the University
of California Irvine and will always
be proud to call herself an “Eagle.”
As a tradition each year, SMCHS
presents the Caritas award
awarded by the entire faculty. This
