Ashlee Riddle ’03 graduated from
Loyola Marymount University from
the College of Science and Engineering
on May 5, 2007. She received
her Bachelor of Science degree
in Biology and is currently doing a
pharmacy internship this summer
and fall. She is planning to attend
Pharmacy school in fall of 2008.
Bianca A. Solé Almodóvar ’03 earned
a Liberal Studies Associate in Arts
degree from Fullerton College in May
2007. Along with 48 students from
Cypress and Fullerton Colleges, she
spent her last semester in Barcelona
as part of the study abroad program.
While in Spain, Bianca traveled to
Amsterdam, London, and to various
cities in Germany and Italy. She came
back with countless memories and with
a boyfriend, David, who was also in the
study abroad program. This fall quarter
Bianca transferred into the Television,
Film and Media Studies major (option
in Broadcast Journalism) at California
State University, Los Angeles as a junior.
Greg Weiler ’03 graduated from
Loyola Marymount University in May
2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Classical Studies, which consists of the
study of the Latin and Ancient Greek
languages, two subjects he studied
at Santa Margarita. After graduation,
Greg chose to advance in his studying
of Jiu-Jitsu, an art he has been learning
for eight years, by moving to Japan
to further his craft. He was recently
featured in Black Belt Magazine and
was seen in multiple martial arts
tournaments both in the United
States and Japan as a contestant, as
well as a coach. He currently resides
on the island of Kyushu with his
fiancée, Machiko, where he teaches
English and Latin, as well as Jiu-Jitsu,
to Japanese and exchange students.
Class of 2004
Megan (Bartel) Shaffer ’04 recently
graduated Cum Laude from The
Franciscan University of Steubenville
in May 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Catechetics. This August
she will be working at Holy Family
Catholic High School in Glendale as
a religion teacher. For more exciting

Kristin (Torok) Ellsworth ‘04 married
Second Lieutenant Evan Ellsworth,
an officer of the US Army, on May
31, 2008. Kristin graduated from
Wheaton College with a degree in
Political Science. She interned in the
White House for First Lady Laura
Bush in the fall of 2007, and will
begin law school in the fall of 2009.
