Katie (Fracisco) Taft ’93 and her<br />

husband, Ben, welcomed their first<br />

son, Andrew (Drew) Michael Taft, on<br />

September 7, 2007. The family still<br />

resides in Redwood City, California,<br />

where Ben works for Foundry<br />

Networks as the Vice President of<br />

Marketing Communications. Katie<br />

works for eBay as a Project Manager.<br />

an emphasis in spirituality. Charleen<br />

resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico<br />

with her husband of eight years, Tim,<br />

and their two sons, Adrian (sevenyears-old)<br />

and Tyler (four-years-old).<br />

Before moving to New Mexico from<br />

Bay City, Texas, Charleen worked as<br />

a drug counselor intern and ran the<br />

female facility after graduating from<br />

Tarleton State University in 2004 with<br />

a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. She<br />

states that her two sons are learning to<br />

adjust to the “city life” in Albuquerque,<br />

and that this has caused them to<br />

become more aware of a larger and<br />

more culturally diverse population. She<br />

sends her blessings to all of the current<br />

students and alumni of SMCHS!<br />

Class of 1994<br />

Kim Farris-Berg ‘94 and her<br />

husband, Brian, recently welcomed<br />

son, Mitchell James Berg, into their<br />

family on September 9, 2007. Kim<br />

and Brian are also the proud parents<br />

of daughter, Ruby Berg, who is<br />

now two-years-old. Kim works<br />

part-time as an independent public<br />

policy professional and she states<br />

that she “loves being a mother.”<br />

Charleen (Lest) York ‘93 received<br />

her Master’s Degree of Science in<br />

Psychology from the University of<br />

Phoenix in August 2008. With an<br />

interest in continuing her education,<br />

she looks forward to earning a PsyD<br />

Doctoral degree Psychology with<br />

Robert Craven ’94 married his wife,<br />

Kelley, in March 2007. They welcomed<br />

son, Jacob Ryan Craven, into the<br />

world on October 1, 2007. Robert is<br />

working as a Software Administrator<br />

at a rapidly growing Financial Services<br />

company in San Juan Capistrano, along<br />

with John McKeehan ’91. His wife,<br />

Kelley, is a personal trainer operating<br />

out of a private gym in Foothill Ranch.<br />

One thing Robert has learned as a<br />

father is, “Truly cherish every single<br />

day as you never know what may<br />

happen, don’t take life for granted!”<br />

Paul Ferguson ’94 was deployed<br />

to Afghanistan late last year. Once<br />

Paul returns home, he will serve one<br />

more year with the Defense Contract<br />

Management Agency at Boeing in<br />

Seattle. He will serve his final year as<br />

Chief of Business Operations before<br />

returning to the Air Force in 2009.<br />

Erica (Selvaggio) Ferrari ’94 and<br />

her husband, Fred Ferrari, welcomed<br />

daughter, Isabella Ferrari, on July 18,<br />

2007. Isabella was born in Huntington<br />

Beach, California.<br />
