Katie (Fracisco) Taft ’93 and her
husband, Ben, welcomed their first
son, Andrew (Drew) Michael Taft, on
September 7, 2007. The family still
resides in Redwood City, California,
where Ben works for Foundry
Networks as the Vice President of
Marketing Communications. Katie
works for eBay as a Project Manager.
an emphasis in spirituality. Charleen
resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico
with her husband of eight years, Tim,
and their two sons, Adrian (sevenyears-old)
and Tyler (four-years-old).
Before moving to New Mexico from
Bay City, Texas, Charleen worked as
a drug counselor intern and ran the
female facility after graduating from
Tarleton State University in 2004 with
a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. She
states that her two sons are learning to
adjust to the “city life” in Albuquerque,
and that this has caused them to
become more aware of a larger and
more culturally diverse population. She
sends her blessings to all of the current
students and alumni of SMCHS!
Class of 1994
Kim Farris-Berg ‘94 and her
husband, Brian, recently welcomed
son, Mitchell James Berg, into their
family on September 9, 2007. Kim
and Brian are also the proud parents
of daughter, Ruby Berg, who is
now two-years-old. Kim works
part-time as an independent public
policy professional and she states
that she “loves being a mother.”
Charleen (Lest) York ‘93 received
her Master’s Degree of Science in
Psychology from the University of
Phoenix in August 2008. With an
interest in continuing her education,
she looks forward to earning a PsyD
Doctoral degree Psychology with
Robert Craven ’94 married his wife,
Kelley, in March 2007. They welcomed
son, Jacob Ryan Craven, into the
world on October 1, 2007. Robert is
working as a Software Administrator
at a rapidly growing Financial Services
company in San Juan Capistrano, along
with John McKeehan ’91. His wife,
Kelley, is a personal trainer operating
out of a private gym in Foothill Ranch.
One thing Robert has learned as a
father is, “Truly cherish every single
day as you never know what may
happen, don’t take life for granted!”
Paul Ferguson ’94 was deployed
to Afghanistan late last year. Once
Paul returns home, he will serve one
more year with the Defense Contract
Management Agency at Boeing in
Seattle. He will serve his final year as
Chief of Business Operations before
returning to the Air Force in 2009.
Erica (Selvaggio) Ferrari ’94 and
her husband, Fred Ferrari, welcomed
daughter, Isabella Ferrari, on July 18,
2007. Isabella was born in Huntington
Beach, California.
