Brittany McDonald ’02 is an up and
coming country/pop artist now living
in Nashville, Tennessee. She released
her first EP this spring, and her song,
“Another Wanna Be” is on the new
Sony Walkman which came out late

Lucille (Francois) McFall ’02 and
husband Shawn lived in Sasebo,
Japan for the last three years. While
in Japan, Shawn was stationed on a
minesweeper. They had a baby girl,
Cailin Louise McFall, on June 29, 2007.
They moved back to the Naval Base
in San Diego in April 2008. Lucille
is so glad to be back in the states
again, close to family and friends.
Jade Salata ’02 graduated from
Chapman University in 2006 with a
Bachelor of Arts in Communication
Studies with an emphasis in Mass
Media. For the last eight months, she
has been running the internet sales
and marketing division at Black Fly’s
Eyewear in Irvine, California. She
enjoys the casual work environment
and is able to wear sweats to the
office! Jade also coaches club volleyball
at Saddleback Valley. In her free time,
she plays competitive beach volleyball,
enjoys training for a half marathon,
and is trying to take up ballet and hip
hop. Jade loves life and says that things
have been great! She hopes she will
be able to afford grad school soon!
Nicole Sobaski ’02 recently received
her diploma after three years at
the Parisian Haute Couture School,
L’Ecole de la Chambre Syndical de
la Couture Parisienne. Nicole plans
to continue her education in Paris.
Amber (Duguay) Stavros ’02 met and
fell in love with Andy Stavros through
mutual friends in college. The couple
was married on July 7, 2007 at the
beautiful Assumption Greek Orthodox
Church, followed by a reception at the
St. Regis Resort in Laguna Beach. Many
SM alumni attended their wedding and
were also a part of the bridal party
including Lisa Costigan ’02, Bethanie
Harsh ’02, Carly Horsley ’02, Emily
Reenders ’04 and Andy’s best man
Gavin Tatum ’01. After almost a
year of enjoying the married life, the
couple decided to start a self-serve
frozen yogurt business called Berry
Swirl. They currently have three
locations (Santa Margarita, Foothill
Ranch and Oceanside). If you are
ever in the area, feel free to stop by
for some amazing frozen yogurt!
