Michael J. Farrell IV ’00 married
Jennifer Haubenschild in Sundance,
Utah on December 18, 2006.
Following the wedding, Michael and
Jennifer honeymooned in Bora Bora
and Moorea. The couple has known
each other since middle school and
dated throughout most of high school.
After attending Loyola Marymount
University together in Los Angeles,
Jennifer went to law school at
Chapman University and is currently
practicing law. Michael is presently in
medical school in the San Francisco
area following a brief teaching career
at another Catholic high school in the
southern Orange County area. The
following Santa Margarita alumni were
also in attendance: Chris Tradeau
’00 and R.J. King ’00 served as
groomsmen, while Casey Brogdon ’00
was a bridesmaid. The wedding party
would also like to extend their heartfelt
gratitude to the following Santa
Margarita graduates in attendance:
Stephanie Stone ’00, David
Schweitzer ’00, Kelly Moran ’00, Ben
Gott ’00, Jacque Adams ’00, Jessica
Fisher ’00, Christina Fuji ’00 and
Megan Cargile ’97. The couple states
that they are blessed to have kept such
wonderful company over the years.
Bryan Kretzmer ’00 married Annie
Pierini on January 5, 2008 at St. Edward
the Confessor Catholic Church. Both
Bryan and Annie work at SMCHS.
Bryan is the Activities Director and
Annie is an English teacher. Many SM
alumni attended the wedding and Craig
Smith ’00 and Vince Prietto ’00
were two of Bryan’s groomsmen. The
couple honeymooned in Bora Bora and
currently live in Rancho Santa Margarita.
Jessica (Baker) Lyle ’00 and Owen
Lyle ’00 welcomed their new
baby, Connor Ethan Lyle, into their
family on February 13, 2007.
Alex de Rubira ’00 currently lives
in Peru where she is working for the
Peace Corps in Youth Development,
teaching English and computer
skills to children in her village.
Matthew Shearon ’00 recently
married his wife, Megan, at St. Timothy’s
Catholic Church in Mesa, Arizona.
Matthew and Megan met each other
while volunteering through campus
ministry for “Campus Connections,”
which is a University of San Diego
service organization. SMCHS
groomsmen included Brandon Smith
’00, Paul Barrett ’00, Bahman
Safari ’00 and Bobby Arshi ’00.
