I have worked in senior sales and marketing roles in NI, ROI, UK, USA and
Northern Europe – I currently live in NI but spent 6 years living/working in
ROI and have an appreciation of business practices and networks both north
and south.
My experience covers prospecting, direct sales, channel & sales
management, international team management, new product marketing
and sales strategy development. This experience has been gained selling
software and services to SMEs and Fortune 500 & FTSE 100 companies for
companies such as gem, CMASS, Bolero, Manugistics and Numetrix (now
JD Edwards).
In 2005, I delivered a web sales project for the Irish Export Association for
15 micro companies which was independently assessed as the most highly
rated project they had ever undertaken. I currently mentor on the highlyrated
Propel Programme supporting export-focused start-up businesses.
I understand the difficulties involved in generating and closing highvalue
deals, having personally closed over £20m worth of business with
companies including Vodafone, Clearwire, Diageo, Kelloggs, Cadburys,
Microsoft and UPC Ireland. I have also been responsible for new product
launches where we have sold in excess of £5m within one year of launch.
