Will’s early business career was spent as an international sales and
marketing executive in the textiles and food industries, followed by 12 years
as a General Manager and Director with Shell.
Over the years since then, having acquired his own companies, he has
worked extensively in the North American, Asian and European markets.
Will has hands-on experience of running international businesses in the
following sectors: medical devices (Amtec), food (Moy Park), engineering
(GDS), energy (Ergas), giftware (Belleek), distribution (Jefferson Smurfit)
business consulting (Euroventure), and fashion (Paul Costelloe).
He is currently a Director of Northern Bank and of Liberty Insurance.
He also acts as business advisor to an international industrialist based
in Monaco and mentors a female Director in a FTSE 100 company.
Will is a recognised expert on selling, marketing and entrepreneurship.
He is co-author of the widely acclaimed book “Star – Leadership behaviours
for stellar SME growth” and, based on the unique variety of his business
experience, is a regular conference speaker on leadership and corporate
growth.
In addition to leading his own activities, he has 25 years of experience in
serving as a Non-executive Director and Chairman on the boards of a wide
range of companies, from SMEs to multi-nationals.
