Graduate in Agricultural Chemistry with extensive, 28 years, experience in
Sales and Marketing roles. Initial experience gained with Cantrell & Cochrane
Ltd in both Belfast and Dublin through various sales and marketing roles,
eventually as Sales & Marketing Director. Worked with Foods of Athenry in
an Elevate project on first time entry into the NI grocery retail market.
Further roles as strategic sales and marketing consultant and sales trainer to
a number of food and drink organisations including: Britvic Ireland, Kestrel
Foods, Robert Roberts (Ireland) Ltd, Largo Foods (Tayto), Irwins Bakery,
John Hendersons (Spar NI) Ltd, Bulmers Ltd, Clements Coffee, Dale Farm;
Fivemiletown Creamery;
Specialist knowledge of negotiations with food and drink retailers with
extensive inside experience of working with major UK retailers such as
Tesco and the SPAR symbol organisation. Currently involved in training and
coaching of commercial staff in Tesco UK.
Personalised coaching and mentoring of sales & marketing account
managers and senior managers / chief executives of SMEs.
Projects involved development of strategic sales and marketing plans and
the successful execution of those plans within defined markets through
leading, coaching and mentoring of sales and marketing teams.
