- Enable limit switch (pin 43)
The safety system of the servocontrollers is based on a series circuit of controls, monitoring
and limiting devices, which enables the motor voltage via a safety relay.
If any limit switches are activated due to a misbehaviour of the control system or the
mechanics or due to an operating error, the supply voltage of the output stages is
switched off and remains switched off until the error is eliminated.
In such a case, you must traverse the axes back to the working area prior to any further
machining. To this aim, the operating mode Activate/Deactivate Safety Circuit is provided
in the control system. This function is used to activate the control circuit Enable limit switch
output. This will enable you to restart the power output stages and clear the limit switches
in Teach-in mode.
If you have carried out this action, deactivate the output to return to normal mode.
In this operating mode, observe, in particular, all precautions and safety measures of the
accident prevention rules.
Improper operation of the control unit in this operating state may damage or destroy the
machine!
