3 Set-Up and Connection
The machine comes completely mounted on a palette.
The extent of delivery of the standard CPV contains:
• Machine housing with three linear axes
- complete control electronics for three axes
- main spindle drive (500 W)
• Mounting set (hand lever, stop bars, 5 mm socket spanner)
• Triangular wrench for unlocking the cover switch
• Mains supply cable
• Driver software for DOS including set-up program “iseldrv”, 1 diskette, 1 manual
• Software either:
REMOTE program, 1 diskette + machining example
CAD/CAM software isy-CAM, 1 CD, 1 manual
or:
PRO-PAL program, 1 floppy disk, 1 manual
• and these Operating and Maintenance Instructions
The servo motor control card UPMV 4/12s, both Multi I/O cards and the connection cables
are included in the extent of delivery of the control computer, which you have ordered at the
same time.
The space requirements of the machine is limited to the external dimensions and to sufficient
space in front of the machine to be able to operate and set up the machine.
Leave approx. 10 cm at the rear side for the plugs and connectors. The cover of the housing
opens upwards so that the required total height is approx. 1.2 meters.

Dimensions and space requirements
Remove the sheet steels from the feet of the machine, with which it is secured on the palette.
Then, set the machine horizontally on an even, solid surface.
Use the adjustable rubber feet of the machine to adjust uneven patches of the floor.
