Library), 8th December 3-6pm (St Luke’s Centre), 9th December 3-8pm (Archway
Library and Finsbury Library), 17th December 12-2pm (Whitecross Street Market)
a number of youth consultation events at various Pupil Voice Network Meetings in
Barnsbury, Canonbury, Finsbury, Highbury, Holloway, Hornsey and at the Secondary
School network (November-December 2010)
On-going discussion and input
1.0.10 In addition to formal consultation periods, the council discussed policy development with
various consultees and stakeholders as part of on-going policy development. This included
the following workshops and meetings:
workshop with the BME forum, May 2011 - in relation to the community facilities policy
community groups workshop, 24th May 2011
engagement with the Women's Design Service
meetings and walkabouts with the Town Centre Management Boards for Nag's Head,
Angel and Archway subsequent to the Direction of Travel consultation
liaison with representatives from FinFuture, a community and business group in
Finsbury Park
discussions with the Theatres Trust
internal discussions, including with the licensing team, building control, public health
and the play development officer
ongoing meetings and discussions were undertaken with English Heritage
1.0.11 The policy team also had a number of meetings with the Development Management team
to discuss all policies in detail, to ensure details of practical implementation were fully
considered in policy drafting. These meetings took place regularly between May and
August 2011.
