This presentation covers three of the biggest talking points in <strong>GP</strong> asthma management at the moment.<br />
The ACT score is a simple but very effective tool with which <strong>GP</strong>s can quickly get an objective and<br />
accurate understanding of how well controlled their patients are. The best asthma medicines developed<br />
will not help if the patient does not take them and so the issue of non-adherence is discussed along with<br />
a strategies that may address the problem. And finally, more and more patients with asthma are asking<br />
their <strong>GP</strong>s which natural and complementary therapies they should take. Therapies that may help, and<br />
therapies that definitely will not help, are summarised.<br />
