NRC ensure that all office and staff needs are considered?
CHAIRMAN MACFARLANE: Well, certainly, we want
to make sure that all offices and staff needs are heard and understood.
And the TABS effort has been an ongoing effort for a number of years
now. I think it is important that we move to a conclusion on it and
finally put folks where we need to have them be to be the most efficient.
So, in general, I think it is important. If you feel that
your concerns are not being addressed, I encourage you to take
advantage of the open-door policies of your managers and the senior
management at the Agency.
QUESTIONER: The lease for Two White Flint North
is due in mid-December. Will the Agency be able to extend this lease?
If not, what are the contingency plans?
CHAIRMAN MACFARLANE: Yes, we are working to
extend the lease. So, the contingency plan of everybody out on the
15th is not in existence. So, we will be extending the lease.

I am a user of the Fitness Center on a regular basis.
And I had heard rumblings about it expanding, but I don't know what's
happened. And I don't know if Mark can answer that question. No?
But it depends on the lease. Darren Ash tells me it depends on the
lease and what we get with the lease.
