<strong>CEMP</strong> Expectations for the appointed Principal Contractor<br />
Table 3 should be reviewed and completed upon appointment of the Principal contractor. An<br />
organisational chart should also be included in this <strong>CEMP</strong> by the Construction Environmental<br />
Manager. This organisation chart should show the relationships and connections for the positions<br />
identified in Table 3.<br />
The defined roles and responsibilities and the chart do not remove or overwrite the legal duties,<br />
responsibilities and obligations of the Principal Contractor in accordance with the contract<br />
documents and legislation.<br />
3.2 Training<br />
The Policy and Objectives of this <strong>CEMP</strong> will only be met successfully when all those responsible for<br />
its implementation and review are thoroughly conversant with its content, interpretation and<br />
performance measurement. The <strong>NZ</strong>TA is committed to providing training for its site workforce and<br />
putting in place contractual arrangements with the Principal Contractor that stipulate the need for<br />
adequate training to be provided to all contracted members of the workforce.<br />
