Suggest Burwood Road become the main traffic thoroughfare heading north off Parramatta Road, with<br />

Broughton Street either closed to traffic from Parramatta Road or turned into a local traffic zone with<br />

reduced speed limits.<br />

Request the tunnel entry/exit points at Ashfield be relocated to either the east or the west to avoid<br />

Ashfield Park.<br />

Request the tunnel entry/exit points at Ashfield be removed once Stage 3 is complete.<br />

Request for access to be maintained from Wattle Street to Ramsay Street.<br />

Request for the right hand turn from Wattle Street into Waratah Street be removed.<br />

Request for Chandos Street to become a cul de sac.<br />

Request for direct access to Parramatta Road from Chandos Street to be maintained.<br />

Request for Rogers Avenue to become a cul de sac.<br />

Request for direct access to Parramatta Road from Rogers Avenue to be maintained.<br />

Request for Ormond Street to be closed off from Parramatta Road so that traffic including buses are<br />

diverted to Parramatta Road via Liverpool Road.<br />

Request for further information on the concept design, lane usage and planned traffic diversions/calming<br />

to be adopted at Wattle Street and the surrounding local roads in Haberfield.<br />

Comment that WestConnex provides an opportunity to reduce surface traffic on Parramatta Road easing<br />

access to local roads and residential areas.<br />
