tunnel entry/exit points, tunnel access ramps (including noise mitigation structures) and ventilation
outlets.
Request for landscaping and vegetation to be used to minimise the impacts of the project.
be undertaken.
Concern about the amenity impacts on residents who were once living in quiet back streets now living
close to road infrastructure including access ramps, ventilation outlets and/or tunnel entry/exits of a
major arterial road.
Request for the existing level of amenity in the Homebush area to be maintained or enhanced following
completion of the project, including the amount of green space, level of pollution, density of housing and
traffic access.
Question will residents be compensated for a loss of amenity?
Comment that the project has the potential to make positive changes including decreased traffic noise, a
better living space and improved public transport.
Comment that the project is likely to change the character of the area particularly those areas near the
tunnel entry/exit points.
Alternative design submitted for Sydney Street including landscaping and noise and visual treatments.
Alternative design submitted for noise mitigation, landscaping and visual treatment along Parramatta
Road near the eastbound tunnel exit point.
Concern the widening of Wattle Street to accommodate the tunnel entry/exit points will move the road
corridor closer to residential properties.
Concern the eastbound tunnel exit and access ramp on Parramatta Road will move the road corridor
closer to residential properties.
