Bus- Flexible Light rail Express bus service on an hourly basis. Most light rail, Bus I am in favor of electric rail like in Europe. Like the system in London. We could use a combination of ground and elevated. I think Rapid Bus Transit would be more feasible for the space. Need to examine Monorail/raised elevation. More of a long term solution, unless you going to use UPRR rails. 3. If high capacity transit were available in a corridor, how likely would you use it? No, not at this time I already live near the proposed line. Depends on the rent/housing and crime in the area. No That depends on the affordability and flexibility to move. We currently live in the city, yet mass transit focuses moving people from suburban sprawl to a few centers. Transit in this city is inefficient and difficult. Yes 6. Should high capacity transit have a higher priority than currently planned roadway improvements? Foothills Mall No, roads need improvement now, but mass transit improvements need to continue, it will take longer to implement. No Yes 6th Ave- Yes, Broadway No. Infrastructure not set the City seems to be lagging. No Yes, Current roads are not sustainable from wage point of view. The number of cars keeps increasing, inefficient. No, high capacity transit has too limited focus in a few corridors. Personal transportation will remain the important overall mode, and require considerable improvement. I am on the fence on this. We need this system. However something has to be done about these roadways. The construction should be out of state companies that can complete contracts in a timely manner. The current planned roadway improvements are necessary, and offer a more timely completion to ease congestion. Also most of planned roadways enhance bike paths. Page 3 of 3
