Hi, Maredy....Ann here:
Our neighbor was out of town and they installed a Smart Meter on their residence.
She called and told them she did not authorize it and to take it off.
Their reply was: We will NOT take it off and you have no say. We are the power company and we will
do what we want, besides EVERYBODY is going to get them, even the neighbor that refused it. (That
would be us)
My question is, have you come across anything that will help our neighbor: contacts at FPL or anyone
else she can contact.
I know! Too little, too late....some people won’t listen until too late. But this neighbor was going
through too much to even sit down and talk about it.
Both of our houses are up for sale, so we didn’t think this would be a problem. But no sales of either
house yet.
Any help you can give would be appreciated.
