‘Candle on the Water’ was sung beautifully by our Year 2s. Then the children who receive
specialist instructor lessons in music performed ‘500 Miles’ by the Proclaimers with Direk
on drums, Chloe on guitar and Tessa, Rida and Inez singing.
Year 6 rocked us with their version of the Katy Perry song 'Roar' and Year 5 sang
‘Seasons of Love’ accompanied by Helena on bass and Ella on piano. Year 5 then wowed
us with 'Pandora's Box', written and staged by the students themselves during their Drama
lessons.
The PE department treated us to a slideshow of all the sporting events this year and
Senora Cecilia's Year 3 Spanish class finished off with the song "Los meses del ano" (The
months of the year). The penultimate performance also came from Year 3s; a beautiful
song called "I am the Earth".
Finally the whole school song with over 180 of our primary students on stage was, "When
Our Voices Join Together", which was a fitting end to a wonderful concert.
A big thank you to our specialist subject teachers, Khun Nid, Khun Renu, Khun Gaew,
Senora Cecilia, Mr Amuchou, Mr Michael, Mr Garth, Ms Peralta and Mrs Shiells, alongside
Mr Ken, who organised the event.
