Leadership Awards These awards recognise leadership by students that have led to the betterment of student life or of the school. Leadership can be demonstrated in many ways, among them: • for excellent performance in service positions • by demonstrating leadership by behaviour role modelling • by taking a leading role in achieving a special group accomplishment There is one award for Years 7 to 9 and one award for Year 10 and above. Teachers nominate individuals with brief documentary evidence to supplicate their nomination. Leadership - Year 7 to 9 Seren Gordon Leadership - Year 10 and above Renee Harris The student who has made the greatest overall contribution to leadership over the course of the academic year: Leadership Award Trophy Hyo Kyung Chi (Sarah) CIS International Student Awards The Council of International Schools (CIS) established this International Student Award to give public recognition to those who best exemplify the attributes of global citizenship. There is one award for Years 7 to 9 and one award for Year 10 and above. Teachers nominate individuals with brief documentary evidence to supplicate their nomination. Internationalism - Year 7 to 9 Internationalism - Year 10 and above Jignil Shah Berenice Cabanne The student who has made the greatest overall contribution to Internationalism over the course of the academic year: CIS International Student Award Trophy Kuntida Khomkirin (Pam) Nam Jai Ngam Awards This award is made to a student who best demonstrates citizenship through his or her active participation in the academic, cultural, sporting and service within Secondary at Garden International School. There is one award for Years 7 to 9 and one award for Year 10 and above. Teachers nominate individuals with brief documentary evidence to supplicate their nomination. Nam Jai Ngam - Year 7 to 9 Nam Jai Ngam - Year 10 and above Seren Gordon Berenice Cabanne The student who has embodied Nam Jai Ngam the best over the academic year: Nam Jai Ngam Award Trophy Yeshwant Siva Ventaka
Academic Endeavour Trophies This is awarded to the most diligent student overall in each year level. This award includes the student’s performance over the course of the whole year.
