Leadership Awards<br />

These awards recognise leadership by students that have led to the betterment of student<br />

life or of the school. Leadership can be demonstrated in many ways, among them:<br />

• for excellent performance in service positions<br />

• by demonstrating leadership by behaviour role modelling<br />

• by taking a leading role in achieving a special group accomplishment<br />

There is one award for Years 7 to 9 and one award for Year 10 and above. Teachers<br />

nominate individuals with brief documentary evidence to supplicate their nomination.<br />

CIS International Student Awards<br />

The Council of International Schools (CIS) established this International Student Award to<br />

give public recognition to those who best exemplify the attributes of global citizenship.<br />

There is one award for Years 7 to 9 and one award for Year 10 and above. Teachers<br />

nominate individuals with brief documentary evidence to supplicate their nomination.<br />

Nam Jai Ngam Awards<br />

This award is made to a student who best demonstrates citizenship through his or her<br />

active participation in the academic, cultural, sporting and service within Secondary at<br />

Garden International School.<br />

There is one award for Years 7 to 9 and one award for Year 10 and above. Teachers<br />
