•TECHNICAL COMMITTEES •
Our technical committees define and implement the technical directions
of the Society. As a fundamental element of the Society, all members
are invited - and encouraged - to participate in one or more of its
technical committees. These committees - networks of professionals
with common interests in communications - usually meet twice each
year at major conferences.
Technical Committees (TCs) are grouped into four Clusters to:
• better coordinate the activities of TCs
• avoid overlapping/conflicts in TC mission charters, areas of interest
and Conference/Workshops/Symposia organization
• obtain a more direct link to the Conference Boards
• facilitate interaction between Vice President - Technical Activities and TCs.

This committee serves as ComSoc’s focal point in the area of wireless ad hoc and
sensor networks technologies and will play an active role in stimulating and
organizing leading-edge wireless ad hoc and sensor networks symposia, workshops,
sessions and tutorials at ICC, GLOBECOM, SECON and other premier M&C venues.
