Adhering to the Notification, the following VAT/Tax classifications have been introduced effective<br />

from July 7, 2009:<br />

•Purchases @ 10% (All Types of IMPL & Country Liquor)<br />

•Purchases @ 8% (All Types of CFL Bulbs and Tubes)<br />

•Input VAT @ 10% (All Types of IMPL & Country Liquor)<br />

•Input VAT @ 8% (All Types of CFL Bulbs and Tubes)<br />

•Sales @ 10% (All Types of IMPL & Country Liquor)<br />

•Sales @ 8% (All Types of CFL Bulbs and Tubes)<br />

•Output VAT @ 10% (All Types of IMPL & Country Liquor)<br />

•Output VAT @ 8% (All Types of CFL Bulbs and Tubes)<br />

The value of entries made using the above classifications will be captured in Form III.<br />

The performance of Annexure 201A and Form III(B) is optimised.<br />

<br />

On recording purchase/sales of stock items taxable at VAT rates of 12.5% and above with<br />

additional tax of 2.5%, the additional tax amount was not being captured in eVAT Form 201.<br />

This issue has been resolved.<br />
