panels on the market do not permit an extra h<strong>and</strong> touch (in addition to that of the<br />

fingertip), blind users have to make a studied ef<strong>for</strong>t to restrict movement to this<br />

singular kind of touch; if they happen to make a second, accidental touch, the cursor<br />

picks up at an unexpected point. Nomad Pad suitably offered more latitude in this<br />

regard, but it had the disadvantage of weak drag operation.<br />
