Foreword<br />

A2Z is proud to announce the completion <strong>of</strong> the “Manual <strong>of</strong> Methods <strong>for</strong> Determ<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g Micronutrients<br />

<strong>in</strong> Fortified Foods” ma<strong>in</strong>ly wheat flour, which can also be applied to bread and other <strong>for</strong>tified <strong>foods</strong><br />

such as cereal-based products, milk and edible oil. This <strong>manual</strong> will be used by the Palest<strong>in</strong>ian M<strong>in</strong>istry<br />

<strong>of</strong> Health- Central Public Health Laboratory to strengthen the supervisory monitor<strong>in</strong>g system <strong>of</strong> the<br />

national <strong>for</strong>tification program.<br />

With s<strong>in</strong>cere thanks and appreciation <strong>of</strong> the project to the A2Z food <strong>for</strong>tification consultant Mrs. Monica<br />

Guamuch <strong>for</strong> her very active participation and ef<strong>for</strong>t <strong>in</strong> develop<strong>in</strong>g and <strong>for</strong>mulat<strong>in</strong>g the <strong>manual</strong> <strong>in</strong> the<br />
