A/ Sarasin-Alpen & Partners Limited (SAPL)
was incorporated in 2008 in the Dubai
International Financial Centre as a specialist
asset management firm. SAPL offers funds
across equities and fixed income; in
conventional and Sharia-compliant forms.
SAPL draws on the skills and experience of
two leading financial institutions; Bank
Sarasin-Alpen (ME) Limited, Dubai and
Sarasin & Partners LLP, London. Each institution owns part of Sarasin-Alpen & Partners
and both are subsidiaries of the Swiss private bank, Bank Sarasin & Co Ltd
b) As on 30-Sep-12, Sarasin-Alpen & Partners Limited managed assets of over
USD 1 Billion mainly across Fixed Income funds. SAPL’s current product universe
includes 5 types of funds including Fixed Deposit Funds, Indian Fixed Maturity Plans,
Hybrid funds, a GCC Equity Fund and an Indian Equity Fund.
c) SAPL leverages on the joint venture between Bank Sarasin-Alpen and Sarasin
& Partners LLP utilizing the relevant skills and manpower that are readily available within
the Sarasin Group. SAPL currently employs a Senior Executive Officer,
Research/Product Manager and Operations/Service Manager in the DIFC and is also
supported by a portfolio management team in UK
