OHIO
Ohio Presbytery would respectfully report:
We have held one regular meeting during the year and
our Interim Commission has held two called meetings. We
have nine congregations and two mission stations under our
care. Two congregations are vacant, Hetherton and Utica. We
have eleven ministers on our roll—five are settled pastors, two
of whom are serving joint pastorates. D. B. Russell was released
from the pastorate of the Utica congregation May 2,
1928, this action to take effect June 3, 1928. Licentiate R. H.
McKelvy was on May 2, 1928 transferred to Rochester Presbytery
for ordination and installation as pastor of the Lochiel
congregation.
Our Presbytery reports a net loss in membership of 19
during the past year. The total membership of the Presbytery
is 443. Sixty-nine per cent of our allotment of Synod's Budget
was raised this year—the same percentage as raised last year.
Four of our congregations raised their budgets in full this year.
The total contributions of the Presbytery amounted to
$18,314.00.
The program is being arranged for the Presbyterial Young
People's Conference, which meets this year at Northwood the
latter part of August. T. C. McKnight is our Young People's
Secretary. The Presbyterial Plan of Work for the congregations
which was in force last year has been continued this
year.
T. C. McKnight is our representative on the Board of
Corporators of Geneva College. W. J. Sanderson is Chairman
of our Interim Commission and Chairman of Committee of
Supplies. E. M. Elsey and W. J. Sanderson are our delegates to
the Mission Conference. J. C. Mathews and E. C. Carr, deacon,
are our representatives on the Co-ordinating Committee.
The time of D. B. Russell, R. W. Piper, W. S. Fulton and
R. Hargrave is at the disposal of Synod. We ask for the time
of two workers for our vacant congregations. Our statistical
report was forwarded to the Stated Clerk in due time and our
traveling fund is paid in full.

PACIFIC COAST
Pacific Coast Presbytery would respectfully report:
One regular meeting and two meetings of the Interim
Commission were held during the year.
Six congregations are under our care. All have pastors
except Fresno. J. R. W. Stevenson spent six months at Fresno
as stated supply. Under his efficient leadership our work
there has been revived. A neat building has been provided for
