Stowarzyszenie Obszary Kultury
Our association „Obszary Kultury” (Regions of culture) is settled in Łódź, however it’s
action has more than local range. It goes into education. Popularization of different
fields of culture and art, actions for environment and disabled and dysfunctional
people, minorities, activity for development of communities and local society,
spreading the idea of European integration, problems of women’s rights.
The members of our association are educators, cultural studies graduates, research
workers, psychologists, sociologists, student of colleges in Łódź. What is common for
association members is their social passion and creativity in cultural issues.
Association is a non-profit organization and uses voluntary work of its members and
does not conduct any business.

The school is a public secondary vocational school. It trains in six specialisations:
hairdressing, tourism, advertising, dressmaking, IT and hotel industry. It is based in
the north-east part of Poland, in the region called ‘Green Lungs of Poland’. It is
surrounded by three main national parks of unique natural features. Our school
helps children with Special Educational Needs to learn in mainstream schools with
their non-disabled peers. It brings them hope for a better tomorrow and develops
self confidence. It enriches and teaches tolerance. It also helps all students to
develop social behaviors that are needed in everyday life.
