Describtion of organisation: Tartu Art School (TAS) is the only upper secondary vocational art school in Estonia. Our 3.5-year study programs of Decorator-stylist, Print Media Designer-desktop publisher and 3D designer provide graduates with competencies allowing to act as independent artists and designers or work in creative industry. Our education opens doors to both the labor market and to higher education. TAS values highly classical art studies that give essential bases to the competencies needed in today’s rapidly changing design-world. In addition to basic art studies (drawing, painting, graphics, plastic art, composition, typography, chromatics etc.), our study programs include studies of graphic design, illustration, animation, photography, interior design and decoration. We also offer different retraining courses for adults which take place all through the year.
