The college had a comprehensive three-year programs of technical teacher education. In 1976 Technical Teachers College started to four-year programs. In 1982 the college renamed as The Faculty of Technical Education which offered Bachelor of Science degree. Since 2009, the Faculty of Technical Education has been serving as the Faculty of Technology. The Faculty of Technology educates student as technical teacher for vocational schools as well as applied engineer for industry. The faculty is seeking to achieve academic excellence by providing outstanding instruction in technology, and also is fostering scientific research of the highest quality. In order to meet its mission, the faculty is committed to meeting the needs of students, and is truly dedicated to provide a superior education to the prepared students. The faculty is offering a current curriculum that incorporates the fundamental principles as well as the latest discoveries in the major scientific disciplines. The aim of the Faculty of Technology In the Faculty of Technology, the programs are designed to prepare technical teachers and applied engineers for employment in vocational high schools, in industry and government. All academic programs in the faculty include significant hands-on laboratory components and designed to prepare students for practical work rather than for jobs that require more theoretical and scientific knowledge. The Faculty of Technology consists of 6 departments for education. The faculty has over 220 full-time academic staff, who instructs about 6300 undergraduate students.
