AUTHORITY FOR COMMON SEAL AND DELEGATION Agenda Ordinary Council – 18 January 2011 Officer Reporting General Manager File Ref 3.28 The Local Government Act 1993 provides: “The Common Seal is to be kept and used as authorised by the council. The execution of a document sealed by a council is to be attested by such persons as the council determines.” Council delegations provide: “To comply with the provisions of the LGA relating to the Common Seal.
