AUTHORITY FOR COMMON SEAL AND DELEGATION

The Local Government Act 1993 provides:
“The Common Seal is to be kept and used as authorised by the council.
The execution of a document sealed by a council is to be attested by such persons
as the council determines.”
Council delegations provide:
“To comply with the provisions of the LGA relating to the Common Seal. To
comply with any policies and procedures of the Council relating to the Common
Seal.”
That Council note the affixing of the Common Seal on the following documentation:
• Tasmanian Titles Office, Transfer of Land, Volume 7308, Folio 83.

That Council note the General Manager’s and/or the Mayor’s signatures on the
following documentation:
• Funding agreement for Round 3 of the Regional & Local Community
Infrastructure Program (RLCIP).
• MOU: National Rental Assistance Scheme (NRAS) – West Coast Council &
King Island Council

Recommendation:
