Internationally recognized as a leader in the field of specialty organometallic chemicals and metallocenes, BSC also holds a strong market position in Grignard reagents, boron compounds, pharmaceutical intermediates, and other specialty products. BSC seeks a highly qualified chemist or chemical engineer to manage its new expansion to produce developmental and commercial quantities of its specialty products. Requires: 5+ years' experience in batch chemical manufacturing operations; 3+ years of management experience; experience with chemical and engineering aspects of scale up of chemical processes; in particular: reaction kinetics and thermodynamics, equipment selection, mixing processes, etc.; demonstrated ability to lead a group of chemical operators, supervisors, and technical professionals in a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-per-week operation; superior record of safety involvement and results.
