Overhauling the engine 10<br />
Check the timing on the camshaft<br />
sprocket and injection pump<br />
(marks on the valve timing cover<br />
must be aligned with pulley marks).<br />
Remove the timing cover.<br />
Check the marks on the crankshaft<br />
timing sprocket (see diagram).<br />
Make a fixed mark on the cylinder<br />
head cover and another on the<br />
injection pump where they are<br />
aligned with the pulley marks.<br />
