Overhauling the engine 10<br />
Mark the bearing caps according to<br />
their con rods:<br />
– n˚ 1 flywheel end,<br />
– relay shaft end.<br />
WARNING: do not use a sharp<br />
point for marking as this could start<br />
a crack in the rods. Use an<br />
indelible marker pen.<br />
Remove the bearing caps and<br />
shells.<br />
