REFITTING AND ASSEMBLING PISTON CON<br />
RODS<br />
Turbo engine<br />
Go to the cylinder liner-pistonreplacement section.<br />
The parts in the cylinder liner-piston section are<br />
identical to those used for this operation.<br />
Mark the parts in each box from A to D to ensure they<br />
remain identical.<br />
Completely dissolve the non-stick film without<br />
scratching the parts.<br />
Oil the gudgeon pin.<br />
Check that the gudgeon pins rotate properly in the new<br />
piston and the corresponding con rod.<br />
Some con rods are pierced to allow an oil jet to pass<br />
through; ensure that these are not blocked.<br />
Fit the con rod bearing shells.<br />
Ensure that the piston and con rod are fitted the right<br />
way round:<br />
