All necessary demolition work within the space designated and removal of<br />
derbies.<br />
Site development (if required) up to same level of existing units, site preparation,<br />
soil investigation, cleaning, levelling of site, reclamation; setting out of plant,<br />
design and construction of all foundations for the equipment provided by the<br />
Contractor. The design shall be as per BNBC [Bangladesh National Building Code].<br />
The design and construction of control room building, engine house, GBC, fuel<br />
tanks (if required) guard rooms, fencing, boundary wall, road, water supply<br />
system, drainage & sewage system, etc. The design and construction of all major<br />
foundations and buildings shall include piling.<br />
- Outdoor lighting, passage ways, access ways for transporting of<br />
equipment during overhaul, and re-routing of existing passage way for the<br />
site if necessary.<br />
- Surface water drainage system including oil interceptors.<br />
- Removing of debris, surplus excavated materials and rubbish, etc.<br />
resulting from the works.<br />
2.10 Training<br />
The training at the Contractor's factory including:<br />
- 15 (fifteen) round trip air fares from Dhaka, Bangladesh to the<br />
Manufacturer's factory.<br />
- 15 (fifteen) Man-Months of training on GTG unit at Manufacturer's factory.<br />
- Local transportation, meals, lodging, medical costs, insurance and pocket<br />
expenses @ US $ 100 per day per person etc.<br />
2.11 Submission of Engineering Data<br />
Drawings and other engineering data for the specified equipment and materials<br />
are essential to the design and subsequent construction of the entire generating<br />
unit.<br />
The contractor shall be required to submit drawings and engineering data in<br />
accordance with the Schedule and requirements specified herein to assure<br />
compliance with the overall construction and operating Schedule.<br />
2.12 Manufacturer's Field Training Supervisor<br />
From the date of commencement of initial operation of the major equipment, the<br />
Contractor shall dispatch manufacturer's supervisor (s) who shall be technically<br />
competent, factory trained, experienced in the operation and maintenance of the<br />
equipment to the site.<br />
The supervisor (s) shall be responsible for providing instruction and guidance to<br />
BOARD's staffs in the operation and maintenance of the equipment. The<br />
