The distillate fuel oil system shall consist of two pumps (One standby, one<br />
operative) of suitable capacity for the maximum output of the turbine at lowest<br />
ambient temperature at the site, along with necessary valves, piping, regulating<br />
devices, metering device, instrumentation, pressure switches and indicators.<br />
Scope of supply<br />
One distillate fuel supply system shall include, at least, the following equipment:<br />
-One off-base standardized forwarding skid consisting of the pumping and<br />
regulating equipment<br />
- One off-base standardized filtering (duplex cartridge type filters) located near<br />
the unit<br />
-Piping between forwarding and filtering skid and from the filtering skid up to the<br />
gas turbine unit<br />
-Unloading Fuel skid<br />
-2(Two) 50.00 lac litre distillate fuel storage tank with fixed roof having floating<br />
suction type delivery<br />
-Piping from unloading area to fuel tank.<br />
-For unloading: Two 100% (100m 3 /h) transfer pumps + Filters<br />
-Piping between the 50.00 lac fuel storage tank and pumping skid<br />
- Rehabilitation of existing fuel unloading facilities including jetty.<br />
-Fuel strainers<br />
-Flow-meter and totalise to measure fuel consumption<br />
-Pressure gauges on each side of fuel strainers, at pump suctions and discharge,<br />
and other critical points<br />
- Fuel oil pumps<br />
-Over speed and emergency trip stop valves<br />
-Control valves for starting and operating<br />
-Necessary isolation valves<br />
-All piping<br />
-Automatic control valves<br />
Scope of work<br />
The contractor shall design, manufacture, inspect, test, deliver to the site and<br />
install of liquid fuel oil handling, conditioning and regulating facilities with all<br />
accessories as specified hereunder for the plant.<br />
The unit shall be furnished with a complete liquid fuel oil system. The liquid fuel<br />
oil handling system shall also be provided.<br />
1. Fuel forwarding skid<br />
Fuel forwarding skid brings liquid fuel to the gas turbine at a pressure consistent<br />
with the gas turbine fuel supply requirements.<br />
Equipment list:<br />
-Two (2) 100% fuel forwarding AC motor driven centrifugal pumps (one duty, one<br />
standby), each for the maximum fuel flow necessary to the gas turbine<br />
-Three suction Strainers<br />
