e) Providing various drain lines with isolation valves at drain points from the<br />
compressor and turbine to drain the wash water during washing cycle.<br />
f) Providing bearing seal air piping to protect bearing during washing cycle.<br />
g) Drainage system to drain out the water.<br />
2. Compressor wash water quality<br />
Total trace elements in compressor wash water (after adding detergent)<br />
will preferably be limited as follows.<br />

The bidder shall design, manufacture and supply all the components (Viz.<br />
water tank, piping, valves, strainer, drains, manifolds, injection nozzles etc.) of<br />
the above mentioned compressor wet washing system of suitable grade of<br />
material to handle the above wash water without any deterioration. The bidder<br />
shall clearly specify the proposed grade of materials of the above components.<br />
The bidder shall provide complete system including Demi Water Plant as per<br />
manufacturer's recommendation (if required).<br />
3.3.2.5 Governor System<br />
The gas turbine unit shall be provided with a complete governing system which<br />
shall be capable of maintaining a required constant speed under conditions of load<br />
variations, control the turbine load, combustion gas temperatures and prevent<br />
turbine over-speed. The characteristics of the turbine generator unit and its<br />
governor shall be such that the machine operates satisfactorily in parallel with<br />
existing generating unit in the system.<br />
The speed governing system shall be provided with speed changing device<br />
capable of local and remote control. Provision shall be made to shutdown the<br />
turbine under emergency by local and remote control. The speed regulation shall<br />
be adjustable (from no load to full load) between plus and minus 5 %. The rated<br />
speed at no load condition shall be adjustable within ±0.5 % for easy<br />
synchronising. The governing system for the unit shall also be provided with<br />
automatic over-speed trip devices adjustable up to 110 % of the rated speed, and<br />
a load limiter.<br />
The governing system shall include an adjustable load limit control, minimum fuel<br />
regulator, temperature limit control, temperature increment rate control and<br />
necessary protection equipment.<br />
The governing system shall be suitable for parallel operation with a large power<br />
system and also for completely isolated and independent operation. In addition to<br />
the automatic speed governing system, a separate emergency over-speed trip<br />
mechanism and over combustion gas temperature trip system shall be furnished<br />
on the unit.<br />
These systems shall operate to shut the emergency fuel trip valves.<br />
