Print Design Coordinator
Jacqueline Bower is a Communications media major with a focus in layout
design. As an internship she was a part of the staff at Gala Teen Magazine in
Charleston, South Carolina. After obtaining her Bachelors Degree she plans on
perusing a career in the magazine industry. Jackie has experience with layouts
in such categories as newsletters, brochures, magazines, tabloids, manuals,
advertisements and websites. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors hunting,
fishing, and riding along with playing sports and in general being active
Managing Editor
Jesse is a graduating senior of the IUP Journalism Department and a member of
the international English honor society, Sigma Tau Delta. He looks forward to a
career in the fields of layout and design, or literary publishing.
Print Cover Designer
Mark Anderson is a senior journalism major at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
After graduating in May 2012, with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, he
plans to obtain a job in the print production industry; specifically magazine
layout and design. In his free time he enjoys digital video recording, photography
and creating music.
Nameplate Designer
James Zackal is currently a senior at Indiana University of Pennsylvania from
Perryopolis, Pa. He is anticipating on graduating in August 2012 with a dual
baccalaureate in Communications Media and Journalism. By studying at IUP,
James has gained experience using Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and
Illustrator. He also has experience using social media as a public relations tool
and using DSLR camera equipment. In February, he became the Student Web
Developer for Indiana Borough. This involves him updating the website and fixing
minor errors using Microsoft Expressions. Starting at the end of May, James
will be building a new website from the ground up for the borough.
Computer Storage Manager
Joseph attends Indiana University of Pennsylvania and studies journalism. He
wishes the Internet didn’t exist.
