To enhance and promote Endodontics and <strong>Endodontology</strong> for <strong>the</strong> benefit <strong>of</strong> patients and <strong>the</strong><br />

development <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> dental pr<strong>of</strong>ession.<br />

.3 Aim <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> biennial congress<br />

To stimulate learning and clinical excellence in <strong>the</strong> field <strong>of</strong> <strong>Endodontology</strong> through <strong>the</strong><br />

dissemination <strong>of</strong> research findings and <strong>the</strong> reporting <strong>of</strong> advances in patient care.<br />

.4 Objectives <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> biennial congress<br />

.1 to facilitate discussion and debate in a supportive and stimulating environment;<br />

.2 to enhance research in <strong>the</strong> field <strong>of</strong> <strong>Endodontology</strong> and related topics;<br />

.3 to improve education and training in <strong>Endodontology</strong> and Endodontics;<br />

.4 to facilitate improvements in patient care;<br />

.5 to enhance links with companies having dental and medical involvement;<br />

.6 to provide opportunities for students and those in training;<br />

.7 to encourage links with national and international dental societies and organisations;<br />

.8 to advance relationships within Europe and beyond.<br />

.5 Language<br />

The <strong>of</strong>ficial language <strong>of</strong> ESE congresses is English. Simultaneous translation to o<strong>the</strong>r<br />

languages may be provided if required by <strong>the</strong> host society and <strong>the</strong> costs included in <strong>the</strong><br />

congress budget.<br />

.6 Participants<br />

Delegates eligible to attend <strong>the</strong> Biennial Congresses will be drawn from general dentists,<br />

endodontists, scientists, undergraduate and postgraduate students, representatives from <strong>the</strong><br />

dental/medical industry as well as accompanying persons.<br />

.7 Environment and facilities<br />

Biennial Congresses should take place in world-class facilities, in a safe environment and<br />

with easy access by all forms <strong>of</strong> public transport. Audio-visual facilities should be fit for<br />

purpose. Facilities should be compatible with international standards on Equality and<br />

Diversity, and be suitable for those with disabilities.<br />

.8 Promotion<br />

The Executive Board and Country Representatives <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> ESE will be expected to help with<br />

<strong>the</strong> promotion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Biennial Congresses in partnership with <strong>the</strong> Host <strong>Society</strong> and Local<br />

Organising Committee.<br />

.9 Intellectual property<br />

The intellectual property <strong>of</strong> speakers will be protected by preventing delegates recording<br />

sound and/or images from lectures and o<strong>the</strong>r modes <strong>of</strong> presentation.<br />
