Pope heads to his first Bengals training camp in ’09,
after joining Cincinnati just before the ’08 regular season
… Played in seven games for Bengals last year; credited
with two special teams tackles … Owns the relatively rare
distinction of having made his NFL debut in a playoff game,
as he saw action for 2007 N.Y. Giants in two postseason
games during team’s run to league championship.
2008 RECAP: Played for Bengals in Games 3, 7-8
and 12-16 … Opened preseason with N.Y. Giants, and was
waived by New York on Aug. 30 … Was briefly on Giants’
